Chef Paul Finkelstein: Food as a Tool for Change
Join us for 9th Fergus Celebrity Chef Dinner on Thursday December 1, 2016 at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex. Chef Paul Finkelstein will be preparing a delicious four-course gourmet meal assisted by Chef Christopher Jess of Fergus and students of the Centre Wellington District High School.
Adult tickets are $50 and youth tickets are $30 (14-18) are are available online at snapd Guelph here, Fraberts Fresh Food (Fergus), the Elora Bread Trading Co. (Elora) and Valeriote’s Market (Guelph). Beer and wine pairing tickets extra. Only a limited number of dinner tickets are available.
Chef Paul Finkelstein is a Food Network host, author with Best Health Magazine and chef/educator with the Avon Maitland District School Board. Winner of Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence, he has been widely recognized for his pioneering work transforming school food systems and launching the Screaming Avocado Cafe in Stratford Ontario.

Funds raised will support youth programming at the Wellington Centre for Sustainable Agriculture in Fergus and oversight of the heritage farmhouse and gardens on the property.
